I would like to convey my deepest concern about yesterday's attack in Vaharai, that killed 45 civilians, and over 100 have been injured.

On behalf of my family and myself, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims.

Since the Peace talks between both parties collapsed many incidences have taken place in the country.

I urge to stop all military actions immediately, and to prevent further loss of innocent lives.
